Your attention is called to page 65 of the current catalog. "Attendance of 80 percent of the scheduled classes is a prerequisite for credit in a course."  Roll will be taken.  This policy will be enforced.  There are 28 scheduled classes this semester.  More than five absences will be disqualifying.  Students are expected to prepare their assignments.  Students are expected to attend class whether prepared or not.  Attendance is a factor in your academic success.  Your professor's home telephone is available from the Castle Communication Centre on the ExStellis web site.  Your professor's office hours this semester are also posted on the web site.

This syllabus lists the material to be read and briefed in advance of each class.  The required casebook is H. Henn, Agency-Partnership, West Publishing Co., 2004.  The ISBN number is 0-314-15548-1.  Also required is West's Louisiana Civil Code, vols. 1 and 2.  Students are responsible for all codal articles and statutory materials listed on this syllabus, as well as for the written assignment and required reading (articles) listed and available in the Castle Classroom.
